Well Saturday at Carter-Finley was definitely interesting! I could do my usual post game blog, but its time to get real and speak from my heart. I am not going to lie, this lost hurt. Especially, since during the first three quarters of football we dominated Va Tech. Oh well, Tyroid Taylor is Va Tech football and he burned us bad. He showed up late to this contest, but he produced when it counted.
But enough about Va Tech winning the game, we all know what they did. Lets concentrate where the Pack goes from here. In fact, State can learn a valuable lesson from the Hokies. Va Tech has suffered some terrible losses already this season. But they did not give up. Take note Pack! View this loss at just a mile marker of how far you have come. Lets face it, last season, you sucked rotten eggs! Look how far you have come.
I use to ask Santa every year for a offense. Guess what? We have one! We actually have a arsenal of offensive weapons now at State. I have not used that phrase about our offense in years. There is another known fact about our team. We are survivors and we will rebound. Just take note of the lessons learned here and move on. One loss does not a season make and Va Tech is a great example of that fact.
Up next for us is Boston College. This is a perfect opportunity for us to regain our footings and show the rest of the conference that we are contenders. The Pack is back and we play better as the underdog anyway. That’s just what we do. Its all good Pack! We are a good football team, just not a great one yet. To all things there is a season and our season is no where close to being over.
So Pack hold your head up high, you are back. And the sun will shine on NCSU football again. Remember how far you have come. Do not forget the lesson you learned on Saturday. It will make you better in long run. GO PACK!! Beat Boston College!
