Broncos Stall Rockets From Launching as They Beat Toledo

Boise State, showed the nation once again why they are considered one of the best teams in the country.  In last nights game against Toledo, the Broncos had over 500 yards of offense and forced five turnovers against Toledo’s offense. Kellen Moore threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns and Jeremy Avery rushed for three touchdowns as they continue to lead one of the most balanced offenses in the country. Shea McClellin showed off his speed, as the big defensive lineman rumbled down the field for a touchdown after he intercepted an Austin Dantin pass.

Boise State finished off its non-conference schedule after their victory against Toledo last night, and now heads into the heart of the WAC conference schedule. In its next remaining games, the Broncos must assert their dominance over the weaker teams in their conference.  Its November 26th matchup against Nevada will be its last test of the season, as games against San Jose State, Idaho, and Utah Sate will present no challenge for the far superior Broncos.

With the recent fall of Alabama in the polls, Boise State has regained its original spot at number 3 in the polls. Boise, must continue to beat the remaining teams on its schedule by large margins and limit games from being close.  But most of all, Boise State must hope that Ohio State as well as Oregon falter at some point in their schedule. This would allow for Boise to become the first non-AQ team to reach the national championship. Boise State goes on the road next week to play San Jose State, so look forward to another high score show next Saturday as the Broncos try to win their 20th consecutive game.
