Who would have thought by the heading that both the Dallas Cowboys and the Brett Farve led Minnesota Vikings would be sitting at 1-3 coming into week-6 of the NFL season.
Certainly the Cowboys and their fans did not expect the Cowboys to be off to this poorly a start to this season and I think I can say the same for the Vikings with all the drama in Farve coming back to play.
The winner of this game goes to 2-3 with a still outside of chance at a playoff/seemingly wild card berth well the loser goes to 1-4 and in reality on the outside looking in as to any chance of getting to the playoffs this season.
I have said it before and will say it again although with a little twist. I am not going to focus on the offence getting points and winning games. The offence has put up 81 points which is not bad but here is the twist, the defence has given up 87. I am going to dwell on the defence as clearly the offence is putting points up so why the losing? what is wrong in Dallas Nation?. I am starting to realize that maybe we or me are all focusing on Romo, the running game, moving the ball when this whole time the Cowboys defence has more holes in it then Swiss cheese. In order for the Cowboys to win this Sunday it is now going to come down to the defence showing up, giving an A+ effort and finally helping the offence win a damn ball game. The defence is going to be the key here folks and the Cowboys will only win this game if they get help from the defence. With that being said it would be nice if special teams chipped in with a nice run back, ZERO missed field goals would be nice also.
Let’s be positive, Cowboys win, 2-3, looking in, see ya Monday
comment, questions, concerns, my ears are burning….
