Fancy in Foxboro in Week 6

The Ravens will be listening to “Fancy” by Drake ft. T.I. and Swizz Beats when they fly to Foxboro to take on the Patriots. “Hair did, nails did, everything did” Brady and his squad will look to avenge the beat down on the corner that the Ravens gave them in the Wild Card game last year. With the changes on offense and two weeks at the salon getting their hair and nails did (aka a bye week), can the Ravens out-Fancy the Patriots?
It has not been the Ravens that has the Boston media riled up. It has been the hair beefs between newly traded Randy Moss and Brady. Yes, the hair is not age appropriate, but when teeny bopper Justin Beiber clowns you in rap lyrics about your hair, it might be time to get yo’ hur did. “Call up Mr. Brady. Tell him to leave his hair to that guy that sings ‘Baby.’” Leave the hair to the youngens and the football to grownups.
After waxing the Dolphins in week 4, the Patriots showed Moss the door and most wonder how Wes Welker will fare without the double teams on Moss. So the Pats decided to add an ole familiar face to the offense by bringing WR Deion Branch back into the fold from Seattle. With the No. 1 ranked offense in the NFL, the Patriots are averaging 32.8 points a game by working the intermediate area of the field, i.e. getting the ball to Wes Welker. CB’s Chris Carr and Lardarius Webb will have their hands full (actually keeping their hands to themselves to avoid penalties) trying to keep Welker and WR Brandon Tate contained. Haloti Ngata’s knee problems be damned, the front 7 should have opportunities to smell the product coming from Brady’s hair as they lay him to the grass.
Cam Cameron has shown that his offense is diverse enough to win a game by letting Joe Flacco air it out or by having Ray Rice teaching folks how to “Dougie.” Throw a little, run a little. Ranked 28th in total defense, the Patriots donate a lot of points (24.8) and yards (384.5) to the Goodwill of their opponents. The Patriots’ secondary is ripe for a 100 yard day from Anquan Boldin and a 300 yard day from Joe Flacco.
This matchup is prone to produce top ten hits from the radio and from Ravens defense. PK Billy Cundiff will continue to kick beats far into Patriots own territory for bad field position. The Ravens won’t win the Super Bowl in this game, but a win will answer the question “Oh you fancy -huh?” and validate that Brady’s hair still ain’t and was never gonna be shi*.
