The Buffalo Bills are coming off their bye week and are heading to Baltimore to visit the Ravens. With the Ravens picked to go to the playoffs and the Bills to finish last in the league, Sunday’s game will be an uphill battle for Buffalo. Scoring points will be hard to come by, 30th ranked offense versus 3rd ranked defense doesn’t bode well for the Bills. On defense Buffalo will need to keep them from scoring over 30, which they have only done once this season, week 1′s loss to Miami 15-10.
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what is wrong with Buffalo, from lack of offense, no defense, turnover ratio in the minus, questionable coaching decisions, let’s hope our special teams can return each kickoff or punt for some huge yards to give Buffalo good field position.
To win this game they will have to dig deep and pull of one of the biggest upsets this year. To quote my friend Dave “Since the NFL world was convinced the Ravens were the best team in football before yesterday’s game, what does that mean today????? Hmmmm ….” referring to New England beating Baltimore last week. Perhaps I can quote this Monday “Since the NFL world was convinced the Bills were the worse team in football before yesterday’s game, what does that mean today??????”
George Halas once said “Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it.”. That’s all I ask from Buffalo this year, I know it will be a long season and it’s been a longer 10 years but I can never lose hope. That’s just what I do.
Baltimore 28-17, Bills winning at half-time but the defense losing steam in the second half; keeping Buffalo in the NFL cellar.
