The fight of the back-ups

Titans get easy win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.  From the start to the finish the Tennessee Titans had control of the game.  Vince Young and Kerry Collins add another win to the Titans win column…Yes I said Kerry Collins, Vince Young was injured in the beginning of the game and the once starter had a chance to get some playing time.  Collins was 11/16 with 110 yards and a touchdown.   Not so bad for a guy a little younger than my dad. Chris Johnson had another decent game with 111 yards rushing and a touchdown.  The Titans weren’t the only team with a man down.

David Garrard also was taken out because of any injury.  The ex Buffalo Bill (Trent Edwards) came into the game and did as expected, threw for 140 yards with no touchdowns and 2 interceptions.  The Jaguars are probably thinking twice about signing the once Stanford student.  If the Bills are getting rid of him there most be a reason.  The jaguars really had no other choice but to pick him up because of their lack in depth in the QB position.

Overall the Titans proved they are a 4-2 team and are not showing any mercy.  The Jaguars even though scored 3 points, still have some potential.  I don’t know if I would give up on them yet.  If they can fix some tweaks they probably can end at up as a .500 team.  The Titans on the other hand are looking good and are sending a message that they mean business.
