UT’s confidence should be the highest that it’s been all year, coming off the win over Nebraska. With that said, UT hosts 3-4 Iowa State in what probably won’t be an instant classic but another game for UT to improve.
Iowa State dosen’t pass for much ( 167yds per game) and they don’t run for much (140 yds per game). The Longhorns shouldn’t have to much trouble with a team that scores ten points less than what they give up.
Last week we saw Garrett Gilbert use his legs. I look for him to throw a lot more this week against a weaker defense but still mixing it up with runs. Some one in the running game needs to step up and say “I’m the starting running back for UT”. We can’t forget about the receivers. Hold on to the damn ball. See the ball, catch the ball, score touchdowns. It’s just that simple.
I’m veryvery confident in the defense like almost all Longhorn fans are. Just keep playing solid with no stupid penalties. No mistakes on special teams either.
If UT dosen’t look past Iowa State at Baylor, then they should win big.
I’ll take UT wining 34-14 give or take. Just Hook’em
