The 0-5 Bills travel to Baltimore to play the 4-2 Ravens. After losing to the New England Patriots, the Ravens are looking for revenge in next week’s game. It just happens to be to the 0-5 Bills.
Offense: Edge Ravens
On all phases of offense, the Ravens are superior. The Bills recently waived quarterback Trent Edwards, who was picked up by Jacksonville Jaguars. They’re left with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback. They do have speedy running back C.J Spiller that has been ineffective for most of the season. Spiller has 80 rushing yards on the season. That is a player that could jump start an offense. Ravens’ running back Ray Rice has been fantastic since recovering from his knee injury. The last two games, he rushed for 221 yards. The Ravens are ranked 16th in total offense while the Bills are ranked 30th.
Defense: Edge Ravens
It’s not easy trying to comparing one of the best defenses in the league with one of the worst. The Ravens are ranked third in total defense while the Bills are ranked 29th. Also, the Ravens are going to get a big boost in their secondary with the return of safety Ed Reed. The Ravens have one knock on them , that’s turnovers. Last week, they got two of the Patriots. This week, they could create more.
Special Teams: Edge Bills
Neither team has great special teams as a whole. Both teams are suspect to big returns. However, the Bills have a slight advantage with their return specialist C.J Spiller. The Bills drafted Spiller 9th overall to be their future at running back. He has one kickoff return for a touchdown for the season and always manages to get good yards on his returns.
Prediction: Bills 13, Ravens 27
The Bills are coming of a bye week looking for their first victory of the season. It’s probably not coming against one of the best teams in football. The Bills are overmatched and it could get ugly early in this game. The Ravens are coming off a lose that they think they should have won. There going to come out angry and take out their frustration on the Bills. Ray Rice should have one of his best games of the season on Sunday
