“The NFL’s worst defense travels to face one of the league’s worst offenses.” This is from the nfl.com and about sums up this matchup. The Redskins defense allows the most yards per game and the Bears are struggling on their offense, allowing the most sacks on Cutler. Brian Orakpo. This is YOUR game! As well, Donovan McNabb is heading back to his home town, so maybe he can give his new team some luck.
I think London Fletcher expresses what all players and fans are thinking about last week’s loss:
“It bothers me a lot. I’m not used to being on defenses that rank last in the league. That doesn’t sit well to me,” linebacker London Fletcher said. “I’m not going to be naive and think that we’re going to hold Peyton Manning and that offense to 200 yards. That’s not realistic. But should they have 469 yards on us? No. That’s not something we’re going to accept, either. We can’t week-in and week-out give teams 400-plus yards, 500 yards. That’s just ridiculous.”
Yes that is ridiculous. There are many players on their own that are great and there’s a lot of talent and spirit, but together it’s just not meshing. Something has to give. Is that the 3-4 defense or do they just need more time?
Here’s how each team matches up. This is a game that will determine the age old question. Does an Offense win a game or does the Defense? Let’s hope for us Redskins fans, that we get both happening.

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
