Well it’s finally here, time for the Broncos to yet again defeat another measly WAC foe. This time it will be in Bronco Stadium against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Boise State (6-0) will be playing its first home WAC game of the year as well as looking to win its third WAC game this game season. Louisiana Tech (3-4) on the other hand, will have the tough task of trying to defeat Boise on its home turf.
Boise State looks to keep on rolling through their WAC schedule as they continue to try and become the first non-AQ to reach the national championship. In order for this game to have much meaning, the Bulldogs must make an attempt to keep the score close as there will be no hope for them winning this game. Boise State will be led by Heisman hopeful Kellen Moore. He looks to get the Broncos out ahead early and help set the pace for the Broncos as a whole. The Bulldogs must control the ball with running back Lennon Creer as he will be the most valuable asset Louisiana Tech uses to try and defeat Boise State.
Overall with the talent that Boise has over Louisiana Tech, this game will not be much of a contest. Boise will continue to show its dominance over its WAC foes as it attempts to play in a BCS bowl game. The only speed bump that I could see happening in this game is Boise State looking ahead to its November 6th matchup against Hawaii. If the Broncos can stay focused and contain the Bulldogs, then they will come out with a large margin of victory.
I see Boise State winning 56-3 as they take care of business against Louisiana Tech and get ready for their next challenge against Hawaii.
