Vindication or Desperation??

Either way you want to slice it, the Jazz finally showed up and played basketball the way they should. Last night they played the Thunder and beat them 120-99, the Jazz refused to start the season 0-3. The last time a Jazz team started the season 0-3 was 30 years ago, this team wasn’t going to be the one to end the streak. The Jazz got double-doubles from Millsap, Jefferson, and Williams. Millsap finished with 30 points and 16 rebounds, Jefferson with 23 points and 10 rebounds, and Deron Williams had 16 points, 6 rebounds, and dished out 15 assists!! The Jazz defense forced Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook into 9 turnovers combined, the Jazz had 32 assists to OKC’s 10. So the ball was obviously moving on offense, Kirilenko had 19 points and CJ Miles decided to make an appearance with 21 points. This year’s Utah Jazz team has great pieces, it’s just a matter of them clicking. I will continue to keep to my prediction before the season of Utah finishing first in this division. I just need to see this kind of effort on a nightly basis, something tells me it’s within the realm of possibility!!
