After only four weeks with the Minnesota Vikings Randy Moss was let go and claimed by the 5-3 Tennessee Titans. The Titans are going into a bye week, which will be helpful to Moss because he can learn the play book. He will be joining the Titan’s up and coming wide receiver Britt. Britt has been putting up impressive numbers. It looks like the Titans have an elite wide receiver core now. Also it could mean that Britt will get the ball more because teams will be worrying about covering Moss.
Moss will also be joining an old teammate, Kerry Collins. They once played on the Raiders together. If the Titan’s quarterback Vince Young is healthy by week 10 he will be getting the start. It looks as of now he will be ready to go against the Miami Dolphins. If he isn’t ready then Kerry Collins will get the start and Moss might hook up with his old teammate. Does this sound like a familiar story? Remember when Vikings picked up Moss and he was joined again my and old team by the name Brett Favre.
As long as Randy Moss doesn’t get out of control this situation can turn out to be great for the Titans. If Randy Moss can control his actions and not at yell at restaurant caters or slack off running routes then he might find a home.
