In a move that should have taken place after Week 3 of the season as the Cowboys headed into their bye week, Dallas Cowboys’ owner and General Manager, Jerry Jones, has fired Wade Phillips and replaced him with Offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett. We first rerported it on our radio show this morning and beat every media outlet to the story!
In case you forgot, Jerry Jones kept telling everyone he would never fire a head coach during the season. Well, this team had more and more players quit on Phillips as the season went on. Here is the link we had up 6 weeks ago about the possible firing at the time.
