1 Down, 2 to Go

Well don’t look now, but the Miami Heat just lost at home to the Utah Jazz. I didn’t guarantee a win last time I spoke to you all so I can’t take full credit. It is safe however, for me to say that I warned you all that this was possible. The Jazz and Heat went into overtime after the Jazz rallied from a 22 point deficit to force the extra period. Paul Milsap has my vote right NOW for the NBA’s Most Improved award. Milsap dropped 46 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, Deron Williams had 21 points and 14 assists before fouling out in regulation. So that means the Jazz beat the Heat in OT minus their best player!! Once again the snipers on the Heat went cold as James Jones and Eddie House struggled to connect from deep. Kirilenko did a great job on LeBron, LeBron had a triple double but he only shot 5-18 from the floor. The Jazz still have 2 more games left on this big road trip, but this win will surely give them the confidence they need as they move forward. The Jazz become one of only 3 teams to beat the Heat this season, if you’re keeping track all of these teams had elite point guards. Rondo, Paul, and now Deron Williams led their teams to victory against the Heat by attacking the paint and distributing the ball. I was curious going into this game to see who was going to be assigned to Deron Williams because he is much bigger and stronger than Rondo & Paul. It obviously didn’t matter as he dissected the Heat defense with great passes time and time again. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves as this is only one game, but you can’t help but be proud of this win. Did you think the Jazz were capable of coming back once they went down 22??
