Will this week be the week for the Bills to get their first win going up against the Lions? Why not right? They have been close the last 3 games losing by a combined 9 points, which is a huge improvement from their previous 3 with 42 points. The Detroit Lions will be without Matthew Stafford after suffering a right shoulder injury which should give the Bills the advantage at the quarterback position. With the loss of Roscoe Parrish with a broken wrist, we’ll look for Stevie Johnson to continue his roll and try and score some points. To quote my friend Cain “The good thing about the game is that someone has to win. The bad news is that one of the teams is going to find some sort of spectacular way to lose”
Although a Lion would win hands down against a Buffalo, I can’t help but take the Bills in this one, 17-16 with Buffalo winning on a safety with 2 seconds left. Weird enough, but with the Bills you never know.
I mentioned in my last blog that I would have attendance numbers from the Rogers Center in Toronto, interesting enough they are the lowest of the three games.
Here is a breakdown of the games
December 7, 2008 Dolphins 16–3 Bills 52,134*
December 3, 2009 Jets 19–13 Bills 51,567*
November 7, 2010 Bears 22–19 Bills 50,746*
*capacity of the Rogers Center is 54,000
Seeing that capacity at the Ralph in Buffalo is 73,079 , does the NFL really think that Toronto can support an NFL franchise?
