Clippers Come Up Short, Again

I’m a Laker fan. And speaking for most Laker fans, we consider the Clippers to be a JV team. Immature, reckless and undisciplined.
All those traits were on display last night night. Two of them on one play.
On the play in question rookie forward Al-Farouq Aminu, who got his first NBA start, led a four-on-one Clipper break after a Tayshaun Prince turnover. Aminu threw the ball right into the hands of Richard Hamilton. Undisciplined.
One of the Clippers players that was one of the “four” was Eric Gordon. Once the ball found the hands of Hamilton, Gordon’s disgust was displayed as he looked up to the Staples Center rafters, arms flaying in frustration. Immature.
Recklessness was noticeable throughout the game, especially on offense. At times it seems like the Clippers have no idea what to do on offense. I don’t see anything that has any resemblance of a offensive scheme or philosophy.
Injuries are a factor, Baron Davis, Chris Kaman and Randy Foye did not play this evening. But we are 10 games into the young season and you would think by now the players would have some sense or idea what coach Vinny Del Negro is preaching. It really does not appear that way.
The Clippers get the New Jersey Nets on Monday.
