Cincinnati at Indianapolis Preview

The Bengals have never beaten the Colts with Peyton Manning at the helm for Indianapolis. I don’t expect that trend to be broken. Manning is 6-0 against Cincinnati, throwing 17 touchdowns and just three picks.
It seems like the whole Colts team is on I.R., but as long as Manning and Wayne are in the starting lineup, that’s seemingly all that matters for Indy.
You can only say so much about a football team week in and week out. The Bengals are obviously not living up to Chad Ocho-Cinco’s prophecy. He had them going to the Super Bowl. The Bengals are still getting no pressure on the quarterback defensively, and the team in general keeps digging themselves in holes to begin games. If Cincinnati can hold onto to the ball on the opening kickoff, that would be a start.
If there is one positive about this year, it’s been Terrell Owens. T.O., who’ll be 37 next month, has 55 receptions for 770 yards and seven TDs. He’s already matched his reception and touchdown totals from his one year stint with the Bills.
In some other news, first round OT Andre Smith is hurt again. He broke his foot in practice, and will be out for the remainder of the season.
I guess if Bengals fans want to remain optomistic, the 1970 Cincinnati squad remains the only NFL team to make the playoffs after a 2-6 start. They won their last six games and won the Central division.
PREDICTION- Ind 34-17
