For the second consecutive week, the Bengals got into a big hole early, and were unable to climb out. The Colts put the first 17 points on the board en route to a 23-17 win over Cincinnati.
The Bengals defense did a pretty good job against Peyton Manning, but the Bengals offense turned the ball over 5 times. Carson Palmer threw three picks, and Cedric Benson and Jermaine Gresham each fumbled once.
Manning was held to a season-low 185 yards passing, and was held without a passing touchdown. It seems like all of the Colt’s injuries are catching up to them.
The Bengals had a great shot to win it after recovering an onside kick with 2:40 left. Jermaine Gresham gave the ball right back to Indy on the next offensive play as he fumbled. The rookie TE Gresham had his best game of the season, 9 receptions for 85 yards and a score, but that fumble will haunt him for a little while.
Terrell Owens may finally be showing his true colors once again; he gave up on several routes. One of them resulted in the Kelvin Hayden pick six. It’s a shame because Owens has been playing really well.
Chad Ocho-Cinco showed some guts as he came back into the game after what looked like a brutal shouler injury. He had seven catches for 86-yards and a touchdown.
Ive delved into the problems of the pass rush the last couple of weeks, but I’ve come away impressed with the play of the line the last few weeks. Some of the younger guys such as Carlos Dunlap, Geno Atkins and Michael Johnson are getting a chance to play, and they look good. Dunlap has been the best of the three. Dunlap and Atkins are rookies, while Johnson is in his 2nd year. This is the unit to watch as the season progresses.

I currently work for the Sports Network. It's the best job ever! I am a 2010 graduate of Temple University where I majored in broadcast journalism, I LOVE SPORTS! That's why I am here. I have a vast knowledge and want to share my athletic intelligence with the world. Some people like to spend their time shooting down aliens in Halo; I like to spend my time watching sports, current and old. It's my passion! I got asked one time how I can watch a game over again when I already know the outcome. 5 minutes later, he's watching Happy Gilmore reciting all of the lines from the movie. Hypocrite! As for my favorite sports teams, I've been a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan. My favorite athlete is Allen Iverson. He didn't like practice that much, but when it came to gametime, no one let it all out on the floor like Iverson. He is absolutely beloved in the city of Brotherly Love. For college athletics, obviously I pay close attention to Temple. (Yes, football too) Even before I stepped foot on Temple's campus for the 1st time in 2005, I was a fan. Oh the good old days of John Chaney! Some other tidbits about myself, I love cheesesteaks, I hydrate myself with Welch's Grape Juice and Snapple. I love the HBO show Entourage. Also, when is Kenny Powers making his much anticipated return in Eastbound and Down!
