Cowboys give the Giants a taste of their own medicine

New Coach, new results, the Dallas Cowboys went into New Jersey aka the Meadowlands and beat the New York ‘football’ Giants 33-20 in chapter 1 of the new Head Coach game in Dallas Nation.  I could say the Cowboys turned the lights off to the Giants with the 11 minute power outage that occured.

I will not dwell that Dallas has turned the page in the new era and they are Super Bowl bound but the win was nice and the game yesterday was really the way most of Dallas Nation expected the Cowboys to be playing all season.

In fact the Giants played the way the Cowboys have played so far all season in finding ways to lose football games instead of winning football games.  Good for Cowboy fans, bad for Giant fans.

The postive out of yesterday’s game is Dallas looked happy, intensity, passion, new Head Coach Jason Garrett running up and down the sidelines, he was into it.   Something we have not seen so far this season with Phillips behind the helm of Cowboy Nation.  I think we can now officially put the Wade Phillips era behind us and now focus on trying to salvage something out of this season, being a spoiler and seeing who, what, where happens the rest of this season as a starter in any event.

–Kitna played well, about time, see if he can do it two games in a row

–Dez Bryant showing some signs of wide receivers of the past who are now members of the I won’t say it but he is really coming into his own as a rookie.

–running game was there but still not where I thought it would be or could be considering the backs the Cowboys have.

–special teams played well with the 101 yard INT TD return.

–fumble, 2 INT’s for the defense

–no sacks mind you!!!!!

Question for you readers, Marion Barber, are his days in a Cowboy uniform numbered?, it was noted that Barber violated a new rule as per a dress code in Dallas on game days.  Barber has not put up numbers that he is capable of and I am of the thinking that his days are numbered but time will tell and one I personally will keep a close eye on.

comment, questions, concerns, nice win Cowboys!!!!!!
