The reason why the Nets were without Devin Harris’ services for a majority of the game was because he clothes lined Blake Griffin on a breakaway dunk was thrown out of the game and may face a suspension.
Let’s get this out of the way. Harris did not intend to hurt Griffin but there was no play on the ball and the ejection was warranted. A suspension? Probably not.
Anyways, you would think that with the Nets best player out the Clippers would capitalize. Right?
Well, this is the Clippers and the Clippers do what they always done, lose. They gave a valiant effort, but all the effort to get back into the game only to see the mighty Nets, winners of 12 games last year, blew the Clippers out 110-96.
The two Erics, Bledsoe and Gordon, combined for 12-36 from the field. Gordon is now 8-47 from 3 point land on the young season.
The Clippers are now 1-10 on the season.
Is the season over yet?
