Bell is back as Jazz drop Nets

Welcome back Raja Bell, your team missed you in your absence! The comeback kids didn’t need to come back in this one as they held the lead going into the 4th quarter. The Nets cut the lead within 5 before the Jazz finished them off 98-88. Speaking of 5, the whole starting 5 for Utah finished this game in double figures. What’s more impressive is that as a team Utah only had 5 turnovers, on the other hand the Jazz had 19 assists. Deron Williams led the way with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals. Paul Milsap regained his form as he had another double double with 19 points and 15 boards, Al Jefferson was just 1 rebound shy of a double double with 16 points and 9 rebounds! Raja Bell and Andrei Kirilenko both had 15 points, Bell’s presence was needed as this game was a little more on the defensive side as both teams shot terrible from the field. Bell’s defensive ability might have been needed even more when the Thunder were in town. Anthony Morrow was the high man for the Nets with 24 points, Devin Harris and Brook Lopez chipped in with 19 and 17 points respectively. The Nets beat the Jazz on the boards but turned the ball over 14 times. The Jazz move on to 8-4 overall and 3-2 at home, the Spurs come to town on Friday. The Spurs remain one of the premier teams in the Western Conference, at 9-1 they look to be a formidable challenge for the Jazz. Two areas of interest for Fridays game will be the match-up between the point guards and the bigs!! We get to see Deron Williams take on Tony Parker and Tim Duncan/Dejuan Blair vs Al Jefferson/Paul Milsap. I think the match-up that intrigues me the most is Blair vs Milsap because of the physical nature of both players. I have full confidence that Deron Williams will continue to prove why he’s the TOUGHEST cover in the NBA at his position. I don’t think Parker will be able to handle Williams, either way this game should be a good one! Who has the advantage at the point, Jazz or Spurs?? How about the bigs, would you take Duncan/Blair or Milsap/Jefferson??
