The Jazz fall to 8-5, 3-3 at home as the Spurs came to Salt Lake City and won 94-82. The Jazz rallied from 15 to tie the game late in the 3rd. The Jazz weren’t able to hold on as Duncan passed David Robinson to become the Spurs All-Time leading scorer. The Jazz were led by Deron Williams with 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. Tim Duncan had a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards, Tony Parker had 24 points and 7 assists. Let me not forget, Parker also had 4 steals in the game as well. For the most part, it looked as if Deron Williams was the only member of the Jazz that came to play. The bigs were no where to be found as the Jazz were out-rebounded by 15. The boards is usually the place where the Jazz make up for their deficiencies, tonight definitely wasn’t one of those games. The Jazz go on the road tomorrow, their opponent will be the Portland Trailblazers. The loss the Jazz took tonight coupled with the Thunder’s win, gives the Thunder the lead in the Division at 8-4.
Here is an interesting piece of news I would like to share with you, Paul Milsap is not an option for the Utah Jazz on the All Star Ballot. Instead, in his place they have Mehmet Okur who has yet to play a game this season. Isn’t that highway robbery?? The man is averaging 21.5 points and 9.5 rebounds!! How do you OVERLOOK those numbers?? I hope the NBA fixes this error, but I fear that this will go unnoticed. What do you think of the Jazz terrible home reocord this year? Do you think the NBA should do anything about Paul Milsap being omitted from the All Star Ballot?? Follow up question now, WILL the NBA do anything about it??
