Sorry for the much delayed and much tardy blog, but the Holidays a re a crazy time for me. I am running in every directions, but that is my segue into what the Chiefs will be doing in 3 hours time. The Chiefs face Seattle today, where the Chiefs look to continue their domination from Arizona last week. The two pronged attack of Jamaal Charles and Tomas Jones should have a field day against the 13th ranked rush defense.
But it is truly the pass game that looks to have success as they face the 30th ranked passing defense. Matt Cassel has thrown 8 touchdowns this month, which is best in the league. Dwayne, the Touchdown machine, Bowe has caught a touchdown in sic consecutive games; I see that trend continuing today. As the season continues, Charlie Weis is allowing Cassel to stretch the field more and more.
Seattle has been a model of inconsistency this year, with their only bright spots showing up when they play at home. The CHiefs are going to have cool the storm in the first quarter and shove the ground game right down their throat. The Chief defense led by Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali, Brandon Flowers, and The youngster Eric Berry are all primed for a big game. Look For Hasselback to be on his back for a good portion of the game.
One bright spot for the Seahawks is kick returner Leon Washington who always seems to help put his offense in a promising postilion, the CHiefs special teamers are going to have to limit Washington in order to completely control this game. The Chiefs know what happens when you let a kick return for a touchdown on the road…. Raiders.
The Chiefs will win this game, that at times will look sloppy. They will control the AFC West for yet another week. 27-13
