Clippers Can’t Keep it Going Versus Phoenix

I missed the opportunity to write a blog post about the Clipper win over the Sacramento Kings the other night. I’ve got two kids and it is Thanksgiving, so I hope you will give me a pass.
Not to mention I woke up at 1:30 Friday morning on an adventure searching for deals. And deals I found. In fact, I found so many deals that I was out until 6:00 pm at night. When I got home the Clippers were the furthest thing on my mind.
But let’s give the Clippers some credit. They played really well versus the Hornets, who just may have taken it easy on the Clippers, but a win is a win. And then they blitzed the Kings on Thanksgiving. By the time they got to Phoenix, they were spent.
The Suns jumped on the Clippers 42-21 in the first quarter and that was all she wrote.
The Clipper rotation, already thin with injuries to starters Baron Davis and Chris Kaman, are now going to be without Eric Bledsoe who suffered a high ankle sprain.
Anyone familiar with fantasy football knows that if your player has a high ankle sprain expect him out at least 2-3 weeks. I would suspect the same with point guard in the NBA. And as I have said before on this space, the Clippers are not playing for anything, so there is no point in rushing Bledsoe back.
Next up, the Clippers get to lose to Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz, I mean, they Clippers face the Jazz on Sunday.
