The Mavs got a victory on Saturday night over the Miami Heat 106-95 for their one and only visit of the season here to Dallas/Ft Worth.
Make no mistake though, this win is nothing to get excited about if you are a Maverick or Mavs fan. This team hasn’t found the formula on the court to take advantage of the hype that has been made with having Wade, James, and Bosh on the same team. The Heat has been getting beat much more than they even expected so far this season.
Dare I say the next time the Mavs play the Heat on December 20th in Miami that they will be a totally different team than the one they beat on Saturday night. The reason why I can say that is because I can see the handwriting on the wall that Eric Spolstra will be replaced by Pat Riley as the head coach of the superstar trio for Miami. There is no way Riley can let these off-season acquistions fail and it was evident from what I saw on Saturday night’s game that Jamesdefinitely doesn’t respect Spolstra as his head coach.
So, Mavs don’t believe the hype and the team you saw on Saturday night. That Heat team you will see on Monday, December 20th will be totally different than the one you played. Trust me!!!

I provide sports/life perspectives to sports fans that are better and unlike any others you will hear or read. I am a "crazy stupid" sports fan, season ticket holder for the Cowboys, fan of my other local teams, Mavs and Rangers, and will even "chop it up" with you about life, religion, and politics. I also co-host a weekly internet sports talk show called "The X Factor" (well before Simon Cowell thought of the name) on LIVE365.com, which started while I was attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Irving, TX years ago. The wife, daughter, grown son, and other family keep me busy when I am not watching or playing sports. So, I value my time and want to share the truth with you about what we love, SPORTS, since most out there are so willing to try and mislead you. Well, not me!
