Al Jefferson made sure the Jazz streak would continue for another evening, in the last post I spoke about how important the match-up between big men were. Jefferson had to be happy when news broke that Andrew Bogut was not available to play this evening. The Jazz beat the Bucks 109-88, their current win streak is up to 6. Jefferson took full advantage of it as he recorded another double-double, and then swatted 4 shots on the evening. Jefferson finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Andrei Kirilenko had an even more impressive stat line as he stuffed the stat sheet with a little bit of everything. Kirilenko had 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 blocks!! The Jazz got another huge contribution from their bench, Utah’s bench had 34 points as a unit with the high man being Earl Watson with 10 points. Jennings was really the only Bucks player that was really effective, the Bucks did get big production from one of their off season acquisitions. Formerly injured Chris Douglas-Roberts played in his first game since his eye injury. CDR played 34 minutes, had 19 points and 4 rebounds!! Almost forgot, Deron Williams had another great game tonight as he compiled another double-double (22 points & 10 assists) and added 5 rebounds. The Jazz are now 14-5 and have improved their home record to 7-3. Utah hosts the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, the Pacers are coming off of a win against the Lakers. The big match-up this game will be at small forward, will Kirilenko be able to contain Danny Granger (21.7 ppg) ?? Will Al Jefferson be able to win the battle with Roy Hibbert?? How will the Pacers stop Deron Williams??
