The Seatle Seahawks (5-6) will look to snap their 2 game losing streak when they host the Carolina Panthers (1-10).
Suprisingly the Seahawks, with thier very sub-par average, have a pretty decent shot at getting into the playoffs. That doesn’t say much about the NFC South; but a playoff birth is a playoff birth… No matter how you look at it. By the way, am I the only one out there thats rooting for the winner of this division to go to the Super Bowl? I would love to see a 2007 Giants miracle all over again (not that it’s the same thing but you know what I mean).
Obviously I’m going to predict the Seahawks to win this game, but the Panthers aren’t going down with out a fight. Look for guys like Mike Goodson, Jonathan Stewart, and David Gettis to be tearing it up out there this week. These guys are the future of the franchise, so you Panthers fans out there better be rooting for some super star performances (though, I don’t see anything coming out of this game).
Also, look out for Captain Munnerlyn. He’s been looking rather impressive lately, and has the capability to pick off a ball or two.
When all is said and done, the Panthers won’t be able to beat up on the Seahawks as much as we all would like. There will a few flashes of talent on both sides of the ball; but don’t expect a show-stopping performance by anyone.
