Utah didn’t let the loss to the Heat keep them down for long, Orlando came into Utah this evening and found out that this Jazz team is resillient. Utah beat the Magic 117-105, they did this without the services of Raja Bell. Gordon Hayward started in his place, he didn’t have a great game but the rest of the starters scored in double-figures! Mr. Deron Williams got hot from beyond the arch, finishing 4 of 7 from there. Williams had 32 points and 9 assists on the evening, the Jazz as a team shot 10 for 16 from 3 point land!! The Jazz forced 11 turnovers while only turning the ball over themselves 7 times!! Orlando had 15 turnovers as a team, that makes it almost impossible to win on the road. Al Jefferson and Paul Milsap did a good job on Dwight Howard, Howard finished with 14 points on 15 attempts from the field! Jefferson had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks. Milsap recorded 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. The most interesting stat line of the Jazz belonged to Andrei Kirilenko, Kirilenko did a great job of stuffing the stat sheet!! AK finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks!! Utah also got great production from it’s bench, namely CJ Miles who had 26 points (4-6 from 3)! Utah improves to 17-7 overall and 10-5 at home, that still leaves them atop the division. Up next for the Jazz are the Dallas Mavericks, the Jazz will travel to Dallas for this game. I’m sure every member of this team is looking forward to a game with THE team that ended their 7 game win streak!!
