The Washington Redskins travel to Dallas to play the Cowboys on Sunday. Although neither team can make the playoffs, this will be a grudge match for sure as the Cowboys will want revenge from losing to the Redskins in week 1. Both teams are coming off disappointing close game losses. This is rivalry NFL football at its best, so this will be viewed and played like a Super bowl for both these teams. If Dallas wins, both teams will be sitting at 5-9, but if the Redskins can pull off another win, they’ll leave Dallas at the bottom at 4-10.
There has been much talk about whether Donovan McNabb will start for the Redskins. Shanahan has always spoken of who will be starting but this week; he’s keeping that to himself. Could this just be a way to trick Dallas into having to prepare against 2 different QBs? According to the Washington Post, they have sources claiming that Rex Grossman will start. McNabb has not been told he won’t start, so this will be interesting to see reactions. If Grossman starts, will that imply that McNabb’s contract will not be extended?
With the suspension of Albert Haynesworth and LaRon Landry being placed on injury reserve, the Redskins have signed defensive lineman Jeremy Clark , who played with Cowboys for a month this season.
This will most likely be the last game that Graham Gano will be given a chance. If he misses anymore under 40 yard field goals again, he’s done for (although not confirmed). This will also be a test for RB Ryan Torain. Can he pull numbers even close to last week’s 172 yards on the ground? He must if Washington has any chance at a W.

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
