Patriots roll into the Playoffs

Posted By David Reid On Jan 8 2011 @ 2:00 pm In New England Patriots | 3 Comments

The Patriots finished off the regular season on a high note. I expected them to win by a few points, while resting most of their starters, but they destroyed the Dolphins 38-7. Brady was very effective while only throwing 16 passes. He went 10-16 for 199 yards with 2TDs. Other starters Green-Ellis and Rob Gronkowski also looked good in their final regular season game. Each had over 80 yards and a TD.

This win caps off an impressive season for the Patriots. They went 14-2 and have won 8 games in a row. The Patriots are definitely rolling with some momentum and it should not matter at all that they have a bye this week. This just gives them a little extra time to prepare and scout their possible opponents. This weekend should be a great one with 4 Wild Card playoff games. I look forward to seeing who the Patriots will play next weekend.
