Spurs still on top

I’ve missed the last few weeks due to injury but I’ve still watched every game and this what I see goin on.
The Spurs played their best basketball against the Lakers who were struggling so the rematch should a good one to watch.
Hill and Blair are starting to find their groove but the team seems be hitting the dog days of the season which you could see on their last road trip. the Knicks and Celtics games the Spurs didn’t have the same focus that they had against the Lakers and looked like they didn’t want to be there. These mad me pretty mad and people would tell me to calm down we still have the best record and what not.
It’s not the loss it’s the way they lossed. The defense which has shown signs of greatness didn’t show up at all on this road trip and thats an issue. The spurs still have a lot to prove. If they want to be the best they have to beat the best teams and they haven’t done that, not YET.
The Spurs are the deepest team in the league sometimes going 11 to 12 deep and when James Anderson comes back (possibly next week) the Spurs are only getting deeper.
Food for thought: If the Spurs need to make a move, here is the move to make. Antonio McDyess for OJ Mayo. The money works and I would only do this if Memphis were to release Antonio so he could take a month off and come back here. It also makes sense for Memphis who needs to save money.
