I think my brother may need therapy over this one as he weeps into his #42 Labinjo Calgary Stampeders jersey.
The Stampeders have traded Labinjo to the Montreal Alouettes in exchange for future considerations.
Labinjo has struggled with injuries and regaining his form that had made him an big game impact player for the Stampeders and he should get the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Alouettes defensive line. A chance he was likely not to get again in Calgary.

Montreal has backed out of the trade. They had a week to do so. Which now means that Mike Labinjo is once again a member of the Stampeders.
