Wizards End Jazz Streak at 3

Utah just can’t sustain winning streaks anymore, every time they get a win streak going they can’t keep it going. The last win streak ended at 3 games as well, the Wizards get the credit for ending this Utah win streak. Washington won their 12 game today by beating Utah, all 12 wins have happened at home for the Wiz. They are the only team in the league to have yet win a road game! Rookie John Wall had a very good game against the Jazz, Wall finished with 19 points and a career-high 15 dimes. Wall tallied all of those assists much in part to Nick Young and Andray Blatche. Young scored 25 for Washington, Blatche recorded a double-double(21 points&11 rebounds) as well as blocking 4 shots. The Jazz only outscored the Wizards in one quarter and as usual that was in THE LAST quarter! Utah got off to another slow start to fall behind Washington by as many as 15 before starting their routine frantic comeback. Deron Williams led Utah with 28 points and 11 assists, the only help Williams had was from Al Jefferson with his 25 points and 10 rebounds. Utah allowed Washington to shoot 53.5% for the game, that’s absurd when you think about WHO they were playing. The Jazz had another dismal showing on DEFENSE, I really don’t understand how they expect to win without playing defense. The only other Jazz player that scored in double figures was Paul Milsap and that was 11 points, those 11 points came on 4 for 13 shooting. Up next for the 27-14 Utah Jazz are the woeful New Jersey Nets who are 10-30. The Jazz are now a half game back of the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Division, they can’t afford to go into New Jersey on Wednesday with another lack luster effort on defense.
