At Least They Missed The Extra Point

I honestly don’t know what else to say about the Calgary Flames effort tonight in their 6-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild.

Everyone sucked but I’ll go over some highlights.

Miikka Kiprusoff was once again not great early and needed to make a save to give the team a boost. Obviously you can’t put the game on him though. Though I am starting to think a change of scenery may be a good thing for Miikka.

Curtis Glencross should be ready for a nice healthy suspension after a stupid and dirty hit from behind on Clayton Stoner.

Anton Babchuk needs to take a seat in the press box for a game for bailing on a hit behind his own net that led to a Minnesota goal.

Everyone else also displayed a certain level of suck tonight. Though Henrik Karlsson managed not to screw up sitting on the bench. About the only positive on the night.

I completely understand Jarome Iginla’s decision to skip the all star game to be with his ailing grandmother. One of the few reasons I would accept for missing the game. Here’s hoping for the best Jarome!

Have a good one!
