No, no, no, no ,no.  The Miami Heat found themselves in the middle of a Destiny’s Child chorus as they lost to the New York Knicks on Thursday night, 93-88.  Dwyane Wade could not save them, though he did keep them in the game single-handedly for three quarters.  LeBron looked like Charlie Sheen in “Major League” for most of the game; he couldn’t hit the ocean if he fell off of a boat.  Mike Miller, after dropping 32 in his breakout game on Saturday, didn’t score a point against the Knicks on Thursday.  Miami did not play well overall.  The only two players who showed up were Wade and James Jones.  D3 started off awesome, hitting 14 of 15, but missed his last seven shots.  Wade finished with 34 points and 16 rebounds; both game-highs.  Jones hit 5 of 8 from 3pt land for 15 pts and grabbed 5 rebounds to go with it.

This game is probably not a good indicator of either team.  Miami is better then New York, and in this case they were for three quarters.  In addition to struggling in the fourth quarter, Wade also had trouble tonight from the free-throw line.  I attribute at least part of that to the glasses he wore.  Whenever he was standing still, shooting seemed to be a problem.  The Heat do need to tighten up though, because this is a team they might see in the playoffs.  Miami has a great opportunity to get a win tonight as they host the Detroit Pistons at the Triple-A.
