Jazz Rally To Beat…The Kings??
Posted By Wilson Tarpeh Jr. On Feb 8 2011 @ 1:13 am In Utah Jazz | No Comments
The Sacramento Kings put up one hellacious fight last night, they almost knocked off the Jazz to get their 13th win of the season. I’ve had a chance to watch several Kings game this season, they are a talented team. The problem is not staying with teams or getting ahead of them, it’s closing teams out. Once again the Kings built a lead only to watch the game be taken from their hands, the Jazz out-scored them 27-17 in the 4th quarter. The Kings were led by their 2 young stars, Tyreke Evans and Demarcus Cousins. Evans had 21 points, 4 assists, and 3 blocks. Cousins erupted for 25 points and 14 rebounds!! Sacramento got the lead up to as many as 10 before the Jazz rallied back. Utah’s starting 5 came to play, they all had double-digit scoring nights. Deron Williams had the most complete game with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists. Paul Milsap scored the most with 23 points, Andrei Kirilenko had the most rebounds with 8, Raja Bell scored 17 points, and Al Jefferson scored 23 points. Utah’s bench was led by a different player, CJ Miles had an off night. Krylo Fesenko picked up the slack scoring 11 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in 18 minutes of play. Utah has now won it’s last 2 road games, they are trying to repair that road record. It’s now 14-12, Utah’s overall record is now 31-22. They are in 2nd place courtesy of the Nuggets loosing last night as well, Utah’s next opponent is the Chicago Bulls. Utah gets to go back home for this one, they host the Bulls on Wednesday. That is going to be one heck of a match-up at the point guard position, Deron Williams versus Derrick Rose!! Who do you have coming out on top?
