The Hawks released a statement today on the health of Coach Joel Quenneville. Early Tuesday morning, Coach went to the hospital complaining about abdominal pain. Turns out, he had a bleeding ulcer otherwise known as gastrointestinal bleeding. The cause was determined to be from an aspirin. The Coach is resting and recovering, and should be released from the hospital in the next few days. The Chicago Blackhawks will update the public upon his release and return behind the bench. The Hawks next game is at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday at 7:30ET. At this time, it is uncertain if Coach Q will be ready for Friday’s game.
