Normally I try to be the calm voice amongst the paranoid sky is falling Laker fan in Lakerville. This morning you have every right to be discouraged.
Kobe 8-24 from the field.
Bynum 2-12 against a team that does not have a legit center.
Sometimes it’s just not your night and last night was the night.
The only elixir I can offer for Laker fans is that this was 57th game in an 82 game regular season. This wasn’t a playoff game. This wasn’t a game that truly matters.
But it proves that when the Lakers are off (call it what you wish: off, apathetic, disinterested) they are woefully horrible and frustrating to watch.
This is why I don’t buy tickets to game anymore. They are like a box of chocolate, you never know what team will show up for a regular season match-up.
Just hang tight. We’re drawing closer to the season that matters. Let’s hope the Lakers get their act together by then. Otherwise this blogger is going to have some splainin’ to do.
