It’s a good win over the Trailblazers. Hawks were down most of the first half and into the third before going on a run and knocking off Portland 91-82. Jamal Crawford had 20 in the second half to lead the way. It stops the four game losing streak that continued last night in Chicago. Looking at the crowd, as the players file off, it seems pretty sparse. I won’t get official numbers until later. I’m keeping this short as I have to get up at 5:30am tomorrow for work (I work on a Sunday, yeah, I know), and this whole time change leaves me without an hour of sleep, so I’m already cranky, but it is a big win. The SEC semis were earlier in the afternoon, so that shouldn’t have been a problem, but Kentucky and Florida fans were probably clogging the area. I tried to get home last night at 10p after producing a Georgia State baseball game, and found traffic packed through the connector, so the SEC is tying things up. I’ll write a detailed post after Atlanta’s next game, so be sure to check it out.
