Here’s 2 vids to watch, granted they are several years old, but safe to say both have improved.  Also keep in mind no striking is involved, strictly submission wrestling. The first video shows 10th ranked Leo Santos vs GSP, and Santos barely has to touch him before GSP taps out.

The second vid shows shields rapidly take the back of Santos and submit him with ease.

Ladies and gents. GSP may have better wrestling, but people just don’t seem to understand the level of world class submission game Shields bring to the table.
