The pick is in. After seeing Jacksonville and Tennessee make fools of themselves. And being excited about the choice that New England took from us, Anthony Castonzo fell to the Colts at 22. Castonzo was incredible player at BC. He started four seasons there, and now he will probably start at left tackle pushing CJ to guard or right tackle.
I love the pick, aside from being confused for the first 10 minutes of the pick on how to spell the man’s name (Costanzo Castanzo Castonzo?//too many A’s and O’s, I finally settled on the latter, my friend tweeted me this link). I was pulling for Gabe Carimi of Wisconsin, because its what my heart was hoping for. I felt like Castonzo was the best player available, and one of my favorite options for the Colts. Mike Mayock called Castonzo the most NFL ready offensive tackle in the 2011 draft class. If that be the case this could open up some much more significant holes for Donald Brown (Joseph Addai, I hope).
This is a great pick. I’m happy with it. I love the decision. Let’s go Colts!
