Has Anybody Seen Chris Bosh?

Rumor has it that Bosh still plays for the Miami Heat, but he has been MIA so far in the series against Boston. CB scored only 6 points on 1-6 shooting Saturday night and is only averaging 10ppg against the Celtics. That is down from 19.8ppg in the first round against Philly. His field goal percentage has dipped from 48% in the Sixers series to under 35% versus Boston. The Heat have got to have better numbers from Bosh if they want to win in the Garden tonight. Miami also needs somebody to slow down Kevin Garnett. KG looked like he was back in Minnesota and just dominated the paint in Game 3. He finished with 28 points and 18 rebounds on Saturday. The Heat cannot allow that to happen again tonight. Mark Jackson suggested on the telecast that Miami might have to slide LeBron James down to the PF position, just for defensive purposes against Garnett. Not a bad idea. This normally would have been a great spot for Udonis Haslem, but he has still not returned from the foot injury that has sidelined him for most of the season.
Pat Riley met with some of the players in private today to discuss the history of the Celtics and what kind of rivalry that he personally has with that team. He met with them collectively, not individually, and you can be sure that Wade, James, and Bosh were all in attendance. Miami needs a better performance from all of it’s starters tonight. DWade was the only starter who showed up in Game 3. If you take away his 23 points, the rest of the Heat starting lineup combined for only 23 points on 8-29 shooting. That will not get it done. I’m sure Riley talked about how important it is to play together as a team if they expect to beat the Celtics on their home floor. Wade himself has not won in Boston since February of 2007. The Heat were the defending NBA Champions then. If they want to get back to that point, somebody better find Chris Bosh.
