Hummm–Dallas Cowboys talk

Posted By Glenn Stants On Jun 2 2011 @ 11:45 am In Dallas Cowboys | No Comments

We’ll there is not a lot of news out of Dallas Nation, I thought I would say hello, do a little tid-bit and say hello to NFL and Dallas Cowboys fans alike.  The lock-out is still looming and I am not sure I can see the light at the end of the tunnel but that is a whole different blog which we will save for another day.

I can report that Dallas starting quarterback Tony Romo recently got married, no it was not Jessica Simpson but it was Candice Crawford.  I know this is not football talk and nor am I the National Enquirer but he is your starting QB so congrats to Romo.  It was recently noted that Romo got the Cowboys together to get in some lock-out football, think football.   I think this was an excellent initiative on Romo’s part.

Usually by now, players would be reported, football would be taking over their lives.  We’ll there are many and I mean many who lose during a work-stoppage, on the side of the players, the ones that really lose are think of the players who are coming off of injuries, Dez Bryant for example.  The new players, signings, meeting the new team, Coaches, players, staff in general, the back-up players, sometimes this time is the only time they see the field, get the reps in, stay somewhat warm in the event they are needed for a game-time senario.  This is the back-ups time to shine and they are losing out on these opportunities.

I guess we wait patientally, we are all in the same boat and lets hope the boat is not sinking.

as always ‘comments / questions / concerns’
