If you think that a dominant running game is what it takes to win a championship, just ask the Green Bay Packers. The Packers won with their best back on IR for the better part of the season. A formidable rushing attack is important, but its not the key. A stud running back can make defenses sweat, but at the end of the day, your quarterback has to make a throw. Quarterback play is what is key. Fortunately for the Colts we have arguably the best in the game.
A running game, like I said, won’t make or break a team. However, having that option out of the backfield never hurts. If a team can become two dimensional, and if the Colts can do so behind a much bulkier offensive line, they might just be an unstoppable force.
