The last pre-season game for the Dallas Cowboys have the Cowboys heading to Miami to play the Miami ‘fish-Reggie Bush era’ Dolphins. Both teams are 2-1 so far this pre-season.
Look for the Cowboys to get their starters as much playing time as needed to prepare them for the start of the season. The regualr season opens for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday September 11th against the New York Jets in New York/New Jersey, prime-time, night game on the 11th. I am pretty sure the starting line up tonight will be very close to the starting line up on the night of the 11th. It will be important for the players to play at 150% to maintain that high-level and to stay healthy for the up-coming regular season. A key to the Cowboys success this season will be that they are as healthy as possible. There are already some players in the NFL that have gone down with season ending injuries this pre-season which really sucks. I hate seeing players go down in pre-season costing them the entire football season but we know it happens, just un-fortunate.
Nothing too new to report on, should see newly acquired Reggie Bush in a Dolphin uniform, otherwise the focus for the Cowboys is to play a strong game and move forward to the start of the season.
Tonights game is also and can be a maker/breaker for a lot of rising NFL stars to show what they have to the Coaching staff in the hopes to land some playing time or a roster spot for the regular season. One question we can ask is who will be the Cowboys second string quarterback this season?, Kitna or Mcgee?, interesting but will safe that for a pre-season (no pun intended) blog next week in preparation for the regular season with some tid-bits and what direction Dallas is going this season.
go Cowboys, see ya’all next week…
