The Buffalo Bills are looking for their second win in a row as they face the Oakland Raiders this Sunday. It is the home opener for the Bills and the fans are excited to see their team after beating on the Chiefs last week. The Bills defense were able to shut down the Chiefs running game, allowing only 108 yards. However, the Bills will be facing a tougher challenge with the Raiders. The Raiders ran for 190 total yards rushing against the Broncos. If Buffalo can come out with a win and hold Oakland to minimal yards rushing, you can officially put Buffalo’s defense back on the map.
The Bills should win this game. Oakland will have a hard time with the Bills 12th man, fans will never forget the 51-3 pounding the Bills put on the Raiders back in 1990. Relive the game here. I always love to bring that up with my buddy Joey, that’s what Bills fans do, we love to rehash those glory days. Ryan Fitzpatrick will look to improve on his league best 133.0 passer rating and Fred Jackson will have to have another big game if the Bills want to go into week 3 against the Patriots undefeated.
I’ll pick the Bills to win big on Sunday. The crowd will be loud and proud, and Oakland should just face the fact that the only teams they can beat are those from the AFC West. Buffalo 35 – 3.
WR Marcus Easley: was placed on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday, has been diagnosed with a heart ailment.
CB Terrence McGee : (hamstring) will be out for a few weeks.
