The Washington Redskins host the Arizona Cardinals in their second home game of the season. Much focus will be on Rex Grossman, to see if he can continue his role as the starting QB, the Redskins’ defense, to see if last week was not a fluke and Tim Hightower, formerly of the Arizona Cardinals in how he can play against his former teammates.
Looking at the offense from last week of these 2 teams could not look any more similar. Rex Grossman and Kevin Kolb were within 4 yards total of each other, 2 TDs a piece and within under 5% difference in pass completions. On rushing, Tim Hightower and Beanie Wells were within 18 yards apart and 1 TD a piece. On Receiving, Fred Davis and Early Doucet both had 105 yards a piece but Doucet scored a TD.

What is going to determine this game is in pass defense for the Redskins. If they can continue their stride from last week, this should allow the Redskins more opportunities to score. Keep the Cardinals from scoring and forcing running.

About the Author
Written by Mercedes Green
I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s).
My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher.
Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
