It was a great game, an OT victory for the Dallas Cowboys but the victory did not come with some element of I won’t say bad news but certainly not good news. It came with injuries and bruises.
First off, how great was it to see Dallas QB Tony Romo mount that comeback but now at what expense as reports out of Dallas had Romo playing with fractured ribs with a collapsed lung and tests will be conducted this week to see the severity of the injury and if Romo will be cleared to play this Monday night against the Washington Redskins. Dallas Coach, Jason Garrett quoted “we’re certainly hopeful” when asked if Romo might be able to play Monday night.
Other noted injuries that will be addressed this week are WR Miles Austin (3 TD’s on Sunday against the 49′ers) hamstring and RB Felix Jones, shoulder.
Good news is WR Dez Bryant and CB Terence Newman are expected to play.
Hopefully will have some better updates for the pre-game blog so stay tuned.
