PGA TOUR What It Means: September 25, 2011 — Atlanta

Quick hits for this week’s What It Means:

1) Congrats to Bill Haas for winning both the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup — $11.44 million bucks. Wow. That shot out of the sand/water on the 2nd playoff hole is clearly the shot of the year — the guts to hit that is amazing. And then to make the clutch par putt on the 3rd playoff hole — good for him.

2) My other Presidents Cup captains pick would be Haas over Keegan Bradley. I just think you have to give credence to what he did today. Really good stuff out of Haas. No offense to Keegan.

3) Good job by Tiger Woods getting Joe LaCava to leave Dustin Johnson to go to his bag as his new caddie. That’s a good combination right there that’ll work well in the future.
