Dallas QB Tony Romo is accusing the Washington Redskins of cheating and is blaming the Redskins’ Defense for all the mis-snaps in what nfl.com is calling “Monday night’s sloppy 18-16 Dallas victory.” Romo is accusing the defenders of yelling out their own snap counts to confuse the offense and Tony Romo.
“We’ve got to get the snap thing worked out,” Romo told reporters after the game. “We’ll get that worked out. We’ll tell the league and see if that’s something that can be fixed because you’re not supposed to be able to do that. So we’ll see. But we can’t have that happen. We shouldn’t have been in that situation.”
When mistakes happen and there were quite a few of them on Monday night, blaming another team of cheating, especially after winning against your biggest rival, is a pretty douche thing to do. What it will do now is put a lot of focus on all his other mistakes: His fumble last week: Was that caused by San Francisco greasing the ball? His interception pass last week: Was it a penalty not called? It couldn’t have been Romo’s fault. The infamous “hold” against the Seahawks when they were going for an easy FG to win: Was it not thrown good enough to you to hold it for the kicker? I suppose maybe the NFL should penalize home teams when the crowd is too loud and they can’t hear their snap counts? In those situations, didn’t you go to a no huddle or other ways to count because of noise?
Quit your whining Romo. I gave you props for taking the field with your injuries but now you sound more like a typical Cowboys Tool.

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
